<p><strong>Deze slanke huzarensalade is het ideale (bij)gerecht voor een buffet of barbecue. Lekker fris en nog gezond ook, want boordevol groenten.</strong></p>

<p>Huzarensalade is een gerecht dat de meeste mensen zich nog wel van vroeger zullen herinneren. Gegarneerd met halve eieren en waaiertjes van augurk en op een bedje van sla sierde deze salade in de jaren &#8217;80 en &#8217;90 menig verjaardagsbuffet.&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Goede huzarensalade is zelfgemaakt</h2>



<p>Eigenlijk is het jammer dat deze salade een beetje uit beeld verdwenen is, want een goede huzarensalade is heerlijk als bijgerecht bij de barbecue, met stokbrood. En eventuele restjes doen het heel goed als lunch op brood de volgende dag (sterker nog: zo’n salade is de tweede dag meestal nog lekkerder). Maar met een goede huzarensalade bedoelen we uiteraard wel een zelfgemaakte huzarensalade. Want die emmertjes met kleffe salade uit de supermarkt; daar doe je echt niemand een plezier mee.&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Koolhydraatarme huzarensalade</h2>



<p>Zo oubollig als toen maken wij hem uiteraard niet. Deze slanke variant is lekker fris, met een zuurtje door de wittewijnazijn. En omdat we niet alleen mayonaise gebruiken, maar ook yoghurt kun je rustig nog een tweede portie opscheppen. Wil je deze huzarensalade nóg slanker en ook koolhydraatarm maken, vervang de aardappelen dan door bloemkool. Geloof ons, dat is hartstikke lekker!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Welk vlees gebruik je?</h2>



<p>In deze salade gebruiken we schouderham. Maar je kunt er eigenlijk allerlei soorten vlees voor gebruiken. Kip erdoor is bijvoorbeeld ook heel erg lekker. Of fricandeau. Of draadjes- of pekelvlees. Zo zijn eventuele kliekjes ook meteen weer op. Zorg dat je je ingrediënten niet te klein snijdt, een beetje grove structuur eet fijner bij de barbecue.</p>
